Cookie & Tracking Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy explains what the Shark Dental Supply website stores on your device, and what we do — and do not — track. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The short version
We run no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers, and no session recording on this Site. What we store is the small amount of data the store needs in order to work.
What we store on your device
These are kept in your browser's own local storage. They are not advertising cookies, and they are never sent to an advertising network:
- Your cart — so the items you add survive a page reload.
- Your sign-in session — so you stay signed in between visits.
- Cart ownership — so a cart never carries over between two different accounts on a shared computer.
- Recent orders, for guests — so your confirmation page still works if you ordered without creating an account.
Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it. The Site keeps working; you will simply be signed out and your cart will be empty.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Square, our payment processor. The secure card fields at checkout run on Square's own domain and may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Google, if you use "Sign in with Google," and for web fonts and address auto-complete at checkout.
- Supabase, the service that stores your account and order history.
These are operational. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to follow you around other websites.
No cross-site tracking, and no sale of your data
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, so on that front there is nothing for you to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, nothing changes here — we are not doing the tracking those signals switch off.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data from its settings. Blocking them entirely may stop checkout from working, because the payment fields need them.
If this ever changes
If we add analytics or advertising technology, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy before or when it goes live — and where the law requires your consent first, we will ask for it.
