How to order dental supplies without a sales rep

Updated October 19, 2026

Most practices buy supplies the way they always have: a rep visits, takes the list, and the invoice shows up later with prices nobody compared. That works, but it costs time on both sides and it makes the price of a box of gloves hard to see. This page explains how ordering works here instead, for an office manager or a dentist who wants to place the order themselves between patients.

Start from the price per unit, not the price per box

Supplies are sold in packs that are hard to compare: a box of 100 gloves, a case of 500 bibs, a bag of 100 saliva ejectors, a clinic pack of 100 burs. Every row in our catalog shows the pack and, wherever the pack states a count, the price per unit next to the price. House Brand nitrile gloves, large, 100 per box are $4.99 a box, which is 5¢ / glove. Patient bibs, case of 500 are $21.99, or 4¢ / bib. The unit price is what you compare against your last invoice, because it is the only number that does not change with the pack size.

Where a pack does not state a count (a bottle of disinfectant, a syringe of composite), there is no unit price, and we do not invent one.

Search the way you already talk about the item

The search box takes a product name, a brand or a catalog number. Burs are listed by their numbers, so typing FG 330 finds the FG330 pear carbide, 10-pack as quickly as typing "pear bur". Results narrow as you add words: "gloves nitrile medium" returns medium nitrile gloves, not every glove. If a search finds nothing, it is logged, and we use that log to decide what to add next.

You can also browse by category or by brand. Each category page lists everything in it with the same columns, so you can sort by price and compare brands side by side.

Paste your list instead of searching line by line

If you already keep a reorder list, you do not need to search at all. Quick order (the link in the header) takes a pasted list, one item per line, the way you would write it in an email: "2 boxes nitrile gloves medium", "FG 330 x2", "saliva ejectors". You can also upload a CSV from your last order. Each line is matched to our catalog and shown with what it matched, so you can check it before anything goes into the cart. Lines it cannot match are left for you to look at, never guessed. A list you use every month can be saved and loaded again next time.

No minimum order

There is no order minimum. If the office needs one box of saliva ejectors ($4.99 for 100) before Friday, you can order one box. You will pay the shipping on that one box, which brings us to the next point.

Shipping is charged at cost

We do not hold a warehouse. Each order is placed with the supplier that carries the item, the same day it comes in, and the supplier ships it to your practice. Shipping is charged at what it costs us, once per supplier in the order, and the cart shows it before you pay. A large order from one supplier carries one shipping charge; a cart that mixes items from two suppliers carries two. When an item ships separately with its own shipping charge, its product page says so.

We do not promise a delivery date we do not control. What we can promise is what we do: the order goes to the supplier the day you place it. The shipping policy has the detail.

What you need to buy

The store sells to licensed dental professionals and practices. Most items are ordered like anything else online: add to the cart, enter the practice's shipping address, pay by card. Prescription drugs, such as injectable anesthetics, are not sold online. Equipment without a listed price is quoted on request.

Returns, and when something is wrong

Unopened items can be returned within 7 days. Products ship in the manufacturer's own sealed packaging. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, contact us within 7 days of delivery; the returns policy explains the steps, and order status explains how to ask where an order is.

A first order, step by step

Take the last two or three invoices for consumables and pick the ten items you reorder most. Paste them into Quick order. Check each match and its unit price against the invoice. Remove anything that is cheaper where you buy it now; we would rather you buy the rest here than all of it from habit. Check out, and note the shipping line in the cart. When the boxes arrive, compare what you paid per unit with what you paid last time.

That comparison is the whole pitch. If the numbers are better, save the list in Quick order and the next order takes a minute.
